DESCRIPTION: This 6678-yard semi-public course (6106 meters) offers a decent challenge for the 3.6 million yen cost of joining, with three water hazards, 32 sand traps and a couple of dog’s legs. It also lowered its prices this season for non-members. Longest hole: 601 yards. Shortest hole: 176 yards. If you prefer, you can play just the front or back half for half the green fee. There’s no driving range, but they have some amenities, including overnight cottages (7000Y including breakfast every night except Saturday, which costs 8000Y), full restaurant, practice putting area and party/banquet facilities. Make reservations for dinner and enjoy sukiyaki, shabu-shabu and some Western dishes for 3000Y. They accept most credit cards. From Tokyo, stop at the Kinugawa Onsen station on the Tobu train line, and take the shuttle bus, or travel 30 minutes by taxi from the train station for about 6000 yen.
